Christmas
This is our 7th year of coordinating the "Adopt A Child" for Christmas program. Each holiday season, we make sure every child who attends the "A Better World" program in the inner city of Charlotte enjoys a special Christmas. It is only $50 to sponsor a child and we have about 50 children who will be participating this year. We are also adding an additional option to "Adopt a family" for anyone who is interested in doing that. We expect to have about 25 inner city families this year who are in need of help and we will provide them with food for the holidays, clothing, and a gift card that will allow them to purchase gifts for their own family. The cost to "Adopt a Family" will be $150. You can donate to either of these options that you prefer, or just do a general donation to be used where needed. John, any support you can provide would make a tremendous difference in the lives of these families. If you can't help personally, please consider forwarding this message to people that you know. Remember, each family we work with are active members of the church and are serving there in some capacity. They don't have their hands out asking for help, rather they have their hands up to God praying for a miracle.
