First of all, thank you to all of our friends and supporters who have donated to our Adopt-A-Child for Christmas program each year.  We could not do this without you!  In case you don't know, each holiday season we make sure every child who attends the "A Better World" (ABW) program in the inner city of Charlotte enjoys a special Christmas.  While at ABW, the children (who come from impoverished, low income families) are provided a safe location to go to after school. There, they receive tutoring, mentoring, computer access, school supplies, and a hot meal each day.  Please join us again this season to provide gifts, clothing, and a hot Christmas meal to these wonderful children at their end of year celebration!   
 
It is only $50 to sponsor a child and we have about 50 children who will be participating this year.  We also have an additional option to "Adopt a family" for anyone who is interested.  We expect to have about 25 inner city families this year who are in need of help financially, (help with paying the heating bill, grocery bill, and other basic necessities).  The cost to "Adopt a Family" will be $150.  You can donate to either of these options that you prefer, or just send a general donation to be used where needed.  For more information and stories from families who have been helped over the past year, check out our website at:  www.NewLeafFound.org.
